Dumbogedden

My one-time favourite columnist Charlie Brooker has been a bit hit or miss lately. Perhaps it's that he's got a lot more projects on the go these days, or maybe I've just grown accustomed to his ways (as Henry Higgins didn't sing) but in the past six months or so I've found some of his columns have failed to land for me. What a pleasure, then, to see this brilliant return to form, which is worth reading for this line -
"Many leapt from the tyres they were swinging in to furrow their brows and howl in anger. Others, tragically, began tapping rudimentary responses..."
- alone.
