You know how sometimes you anticipate something so much that it's a complete anticlimax when you finally do it or, in the case of a movie, see it? Well frick that because I finally, finally saw the Ian Curtis biopic Control tonight and thought it was fricking brilliant. Sam Riley was so mesmerising and heartbreaking I feel like I could turn around and see it again. If you haven't seen it (and, er, I know there are many of you) I suggest you do so while you can. Quality.

Unknown Pleasures
You know how sometimes you anticipate something so much that it's a complete anticlimax when you finally do it or, in the case of a movie, see it? Well frick that because I finally, finally saw the Ian Curtis biopic Control tonight and thought it was fricking brilliant. Sam Riley was so mesmerising and heartbreaking I feel like I could turn around and see it again. If you haven't seen it (and, er, I know there are many of you) I suggest you do so while you can.
